Goldammer In The House - Two-time World Champion Roger Goldammer is on hand with his record- setting motorcycle Goldmember. The bike will compete in the World Championship, and will then be returning to the salt in just a month’s time for more record-setting attempts.

The single-cylinder (Harley-Davidson) supercharged, fuel-injected, nitrous oxide fueled machine has already secured a world record, and been in excess of 165 MPH on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

The streets of Sturgis are beginning to fill with rally goers. This morning’s official opening of the 5th Annual Official World Championship was met with rave reviews from attendees, builders, and industry veterans. Arranged throughout the hall were more than 65 of the world’s finest examples of motorcycle design, engineering, and execution.

As the day continues more and more people have found their way into Champions Hall to experience the Official Championship of Custom Bike Building. Their response to the quality of the motorcycles on display has been overwhelming. The motorcycles themselves represent the finest in custom motorcycle building from around the world. From classic retro rides to the most cutting edge industrial and modern designs, these motorcycles are the finest to be found anywhere.

From Team Brass Balls - Brass Balls Bobbers Military Digger has received a lot of action from the crowds. It represents the arm services of America and is painted army green with splashes of vivid colors. It embodies an old skool look with state-of-the-art features.

Indian has inspired many an enthusiast, rider, designer and businessman.One guy that ha though long and hard about what the future would hold is Palm Beach County, FL Carlos Suarez. Suarez, of CS Design Concepts, has very strong ideas about what the new Indian should look like.

The original Indian 4 was a hot ride because the back 2 cylinders wouldn’t get enough air and it had a tendency to fry your thigh. Not many riders took it out with shorts on.

In many parts of the country, particularly those with vibrant local economies, automotive ‘gridlock’ is rapidly becoming an unattractive fact of life. This is due to the greatly increased use of single-occupancy automobiles.

Increases in automobile usage cannot be sustained without consequences, and this sentiment is beginning to have some resonance among the general public.
